I started at the Alternative Provision in Year 11. Last year, in Year 13, I completed a Level 2 Certificate in Computer-Aided Design and was supported in developing my Maths and English Functional Skills.
I used my time at Keats Engineering & Education to progress through a range of engineering qualifications, which helped me build my skills, confidence and experience. I have now progressed into employment with Keats Site Services Limited.
Everyone at Keats has been really supportive and goes the extra mile to understand you as an individual. They have helped me recognise my strengths, develop my skills and take the next step towards a successful career in engineering.
Attending Keats in Year 11 helped me to prepare and know what to expect for when I joined the Scholarship programme full time. It helped me to understand how to behave in education which is important and being in and around the lads was great as it was a really mature environment and it helped me relax this year when I joined as I already had friends I knew. I really liked the teachers and they helped by explaining the work in a way I understood. I really enjoyed being part of Keats.
